sleep paralysis 2024.05.23 the silence or the keening what is more deafening i think that i am leaning towards the silence nothing is more deafening than the silence after the keening but what if time had stopped just then then i'd say the keening there have been times in my life when time has stopped and the keening became the soundtrack of the welling violence and i caught myself screaming the only sound to interrupt my dreaming and upon wakening no longer exhaling somewhere in the middle caught between a clock's beat and infinity unable to move mind reeling no feeling finally inhaling then silence before the flailing
And then that thing in the corner, the spectral figure reaching out, is three worn-once mostly-clean white garments hung on the coat tree at the foot of the bed. Dammit!
